Survey: CIRP Freshman - Summaries
The CIRP (Cooperative Institutional Research Program)Freshman Survey is part of a national study of higher education conducted by the American Council on Education and the University of California at Los Angeles. Iowa State University has participated each year since 1971.
The information collected by this survey includes student demographics, high school grades and academic achievements, college goals and expectations, students' past activities, and social and political attitudes. The data provide a basis for comparing trends for Iowa State students and have been used by university faculty and administrators for a wide range of planning and assessment activities.
